Anti-Limescale is a powerful formula that maintains a low pH of around 0. Despite this, limescale can be difficult to remove, especially if it’s been there for a long time—but there are tricks you can use!
Before you begin, make sure the surface you plan to clean can withstand treatment with Anti Limescal. Examples of materials that can be damaged by low pH include marble, natural stone, and frosted glass.
Here’s how to use Häxan Anti-Limescale:
✅ Make sure the surface is thoroughly cleaned. Bathrooms are often exposed to organic substances like dead skin cells and soap residue, which form a greasy film along with limescale over time. Since Häxan Anti-Limescale has a low pH, it doesn’t dissolve greasy grime—for this, you’ll need an alkaline cleaner like Häxan Multipurpose or Häxan Kitchen.
✅ Apply Häxan Anti-limescale to a dry surface. Water neutralizes the product and makes it harder to see where the cleaner has been applied.
✅ Let it sit according to the recommendations before you start scrubbing. It’s better to repeat the treatment than to let Häxan Anti-Limescale sit for too long—this is especially important if the limescale layer is thick and has been there for a long time.
✅ Scrub with a stiff brush or a coarse sponge to remove the limescale.
✅ Rinse thoroughly with cold water and be sure to wipe away any spills on surrounding surfaces.
